Data Engineering (DE) is seeking a talented IBM App Connect Enterprise Specialist to join our team on a 6-month rotating contract basis. Position Overview:
As an IBM App Connect Enterprise Specialist, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining integration solutions using IBM App Connect Enterprise (formerly IBM Integration Bus). The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise and possess strong expertise in integration technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using IBM App Connect Enterprise to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements and define solution architectures.
- Configure and customize IBM App Connect Enterprise environments to optimize performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain integration interfaces between various systems, applications, and platforms.
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of integration solutions to ensure quality and stability.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and stakeholders.
- Document integration designs, configurations, and processes for knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in integration and enterprise architecture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience working with IBM App Connect Enterprise (formerly IBM Integration Bus).
- Proficiency in designing and implementing integration solutions using IBM App Connect Enterprise.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns, message formats, and protocols (e.g., REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).
- Experience with middleware technologies, such as IBM MQ, Apache Kafka, or similar messaging platforms.
- Solid knowledge of enterprise integration architecture principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- IBM App Connect Enterprise certification(s) preferred but not required.
