Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to lead our Agile teams, ensuring smooth delivery of projects while fostering collaboration, self-organization, and accountability. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of Scrum processes, removing obstacles, and continuously improving team performance. You will work closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that Scrum principles are adhered to and that goals are met efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews, ensuring that all team members are engaged and aligned with Agile principles.
- Guide teams in the effective use of Scrum and Agile methodologies, helping them become self-organized and cross-functional.
- Identify and remove any blockers that hinder team progress, ensuring timely delivery of sprints.
- Collaborate with product owners to ensure the product backlog is well-defined, prioritized, and understood by all team members.
- Track the progress of sprints and projects through burndown charts, velocity metrics, and other reporting tools to provide transparency to stakeholders.
- Encourage teams to reflect on their processes and continuously improve through retrospectives and actionable feedback.
- Promote and ensure adherence to Scrum/Agile methodologies across teams and stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication between teams and stakeholders, ensuring clarity of project goals, expectations, and priorities.
- Lead the organization’s journey toward Agile practices by influencing culture, processes, and leadership engagement.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile leadership role.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.).
- Proven experience in coaching teams and leading Agile transformations**.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly remove impediments.
- Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is required.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS).
- Background in coaching or mentoring teams through Agile adoption.
- Strong understanding of product management and backlog refinement.
- Ability to influence and drive change at the organizational level.
- Technical background or experience in software development is a bonus.
